Career Orientation Sessions for class XI & XII


Dr. Abhijeet Kulshrestha 

(Assistant Professor and Physics Lecturer of JIET Jodhpur)

During the session, the speaker educated the students to understand themselves first in terms of their interest and abilities and what do they expect from their education and career. He advised them to be organised and make appropriate decisions while choosing career and also told students to identify the factors which influence their career choices and act accordingly.
Speaker also took a small session on OPTICS (branch of Physics) in which some topics were discussed like interference and Electromagnetic Wave. Speaker answered all the career related queries of students during Q & A session in the end.


Mrs. Anjali Thanvi

(Assistant Professor in Faculty of Law, National Law University, Jodhpur)

Mrs. Anjali Thanvi focused on the career options in law. She described the ways and the exams  to attain success in the field of law. She also discussed about the different avenues in National Law University.

Further, it was added to the discussion that our young generation are vulnerable and prone to cyber-crime. It is one of the biggest challenges to use digital resources at their best. As it makes us easy targets for cyber criminals and our negligence on this part can cost us a loss. Awareness about this sensitive issue was brought amongst the students.


Dr. Kuldeep Singh

(Dean, Professor and Head Pediatrics, AIIMS Jodhpur)

Dr. Kuldeep Singh started the session by describing about the Jodhpur AIIMS which is the first ever paperless and online hospital in India. He described about the working procedure of AIIMS. He told about the opportunities and career as a doctor.
Later, he explained different technicalities of the field. He also told that how students after doing Btech can also opt the medical career by completing a diploma.

He also made the students aware about the innovations in low cost devices in medical line.

Dr. Ruchika Dawar

(Assistant Professor, FMS, National Institute of Fashion Technology Jodhpur)

The session started with a short introduction of the progress and concerns in the field of Fashion Technology.
Her communication skills definitely impressed the students. She made the students aware about different diplomas in NIFT whether it was textile designing, leather designing, fashion accessory designing etc.

She also advised them to plan multiple activities during their vacations to hone their skills. The session was informative and enriching for students as well as teachers.

C.A. Ashima Sukhani

(Fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India)

The session was aimed at making the students aware of the multiple career options available in commerce.

She also shared information regarding leading universities and various courses.

She urged the students not to make decisions based on family expectations and peer pressure.She guided the students to identify their interests and what they are good at.
