“UNITY” and “DISCIPLINE”
NCC Half JD (Junior Division) Troop of 50 cadets under the controlling unit 1 Raj. Engineer Regiment NCC Jodhpur was raised in Army Public School Jodhpur on 6th Nov. 2002. Till 2007, this troop consisted of only boy cadets but from 2008, 33% of the seats were allotted to girl cadets. Now it’s a JD(Junior Division)+ JW (Junior Wing) Troop.
NCC: National Cadet Corps was established under NCC act 1948. It is running under the Ministry of Defence to meet the following aims and objectives.
- To develop qualities, character, courage comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure, sportsmanship and the ideal of selfless service among the youth to make them useful citizens.
- To create, a human resource organized, trained and motivated youths, to provide leadership in all walks of his life, including in armed forces and always to available to services of the Nation.

Enrolment: Enrolment of fresh cadets for NCC ‘A’ certificate is carried out in the second week of July .Students are advised to contact to their Associate NCC Officer of their school to know more about enrolment procedure in NCC.
